NEW! Youth Ballet Company- Ages 6 & Up!
Back by popular demand, a winter performance, but not just any winter performance, PDC’s variation of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker! PDC Youth Ballet Company is open to any and all students, male and females, age 6-18, no dance experience required, interested in participating in our production of The Nutcracker. You do not have to be enrolled in COMPANY classes at Platinum Dance Company to participate in The Nutcracker. Students interested in participating in the Nutcracker must audition for placement (all dancers auditioning will be cast in the production, auditions only determine character casting). Audition dates will be emailed to those with a Parent Portal account and posted on our socials. Look forward to that info coming in Spring 2023.
Rehearsals will run weekly September-December, with the final show in December. Youth Ballet Company is charged monthly tuition Sept-Nov, along with a costume rental fee. YOUTH BALLET COMPANY WOULD COINCIDE WITH ALL OTHER TEAMS DURING THE FALL SEASON, THEREFORE RECREATIONAL, PERFORMANCE & ELITE COMPANY ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN.
Costumes are rented for a low cost. rehearsals will be on a weekly class schedule BASIS. mandatory dress rehearsal and performances at the end of November/beginning of December.
